Lil’ Caroline is one month old today!! And here are some pics of her at 1 month of age!
And this one cracks us all up. The kids (and adults) have laughed and laughed at this one!
Big Poppa and Matt took Chloe and Cole to Knoxville for the UT vs KY basketball game. Not only did they do this to help me out for the day, but they were all pretty darn excited about their day excursion. They were all decked out in their orange and ready to cheer on the Vols. Caroline and I did nothing but hunker down, snuggle, and take a nap. We watched the Vols on tv, and I was so excited because I saw the kids on tv twice. Matt texted me a couple of pics from the game (while C3 and I snuggled during the game), and I got a few good ones when they got back home.
I don’t have a picture of this, but Caroline gave me her first sweet smile today…. and of all days….. Valentine’s Day! It was the best present I could ever receive! I did get a couple of pics of her wearing Chloe’s Valentine outfit when she was a baby. It’s still a little big, but cute nonetheless.
Today was my first day, all by myself, with Matt out of town, and no help, that I got the kids to school. It went well! I had to get up at the crack of dawn, but we did it…. and we did good!
After getting Cole to school, I raced back home, showered, fed Caroline, and met Christy at J Alexander’s for our first lunch out. It was so nice to be out and about, and Caroline was such a good little baby! She was awake but didn’t make a peep! Christy and I talked, ate, talked, and ate some more, and then we look at the time and I realized I didn’t have time to go home, feed Caroline, and get Cole from school in time! Christy grabbed the tab and would NOT let me pay – saying I needed this outing and it was her treat – so sweet! Then I went straight to her house (b/c it was on the way to Cole’s school) and I nursed Caroline there and had plenty of time to get Cole. It was such a nice day that made me feel semi-normal!
I’m starting to really getting concerned. I just feel like something is not right with Caroline. She spits up all the time. I realize babies do this, but this is extreme. She spits up constantly….. and a lot! But, she is just so sweet and content most of the time. The pics prove it.
