Noble Springs Goat Farm

Chloe’s class took a field trip today to the Noble Springs Goat Farm.  We always buy their goat cheese at the Farmer’s Market (it’s so good!!), but I had no idea you could tour the farm.  It was a neat little excursion right down the road in Leiper’s Fork.  Chloe and her class enjoyed it, and we were lucky to have a nice, sunny, almost warm day.  Since Chloe was sick her first field trip of the year, this was her first time to ride the bus.  She loved it!  Tonight at dinner, we asked her favorite part of the field trip, and she said, “Riding the bus!”  Of course….

Hard Times

It’s hard being a Vol lately.

But, we did have a fun night, nonetheless.  The Schriners invited us over for dinner to watch the Vols play (lose to) Vandy.  What a pitiful, horrible, very bad, no good game.  But, the food was delicious, and it was fun to hang out with our dear friends.  Kirsten sent me these pictures of all the kids.  They played so well together and were very well-behaved.  A very fun night…. minus the score.

Chloe’s Pow Wow

Chloe had her Thanksgiving play today at school.  I picked Cole up early from school so we wouldn’t be late, and Pappy was even able to get away for a little while to see the play.  Chloe did a great job singing, and she was even a Pilgrim’s wife in one part of the play.  Very, very cute!

Big Helper

For some reason (nesting, I guess), I decided it would be a good idea to paint our crib white.  Our crib is scratched after making it through two kids, so I felt it could use a face lift.  I had Matt get it out of the attic for me, and Cole was right in the middle of it.  He thought he was the biggest helper.  He was huffing and puffing and completely out of breath.  I’m not sure who was prouder – Matt or Cole!  It was a funny sight to see!
